My Spring / Summer wants

Hello beautiful people, today I wanted to share with you some of the pieces I AM LOVING for this Spring and Summer! I made these collages with the outmost jealousy that these items are not currently in my closet. BUT they are most definitely the pieces that will make any outfit. I mainly focused on tops, bottoms and shoes cause I am not an accessories girl, or at least not very big on them at the moment, or really ever. Anyway this is what I will be wearing, or wishing or hunting for in the next few months, what do you think?

Jacket & Shirt / Romwe | Pants / American Apparel | Cardigan / Aritzia

I am not big on written, I don't find myself being good at it nor do I enjoy it.
So from now on I'd be sharing my thoughts and feelings as well as my aspirations through poetry, photos and other words that I find to harmonize the content I post. I found that lately I have been losing my creative touch and control around here, so I am bringing it back. I don't want to write useless words about what I wore today I just want to post pictures that describe who I am and post words that explain who I am.  I want to inspire you through art and not through how much I can write about a shirt I like. So be ready for a new and improved Art. Culture. & Style

Peace

I am so over this winter! It has been a long depressing winter, it's been far too cold and there was too much snow. I can no longer wait for some happy colours and nice prints. I decided to put a little Lookbook, more like 2 looks together as a pre spring welcome. You know, maybe this will somehow bring this season to an end. As you can see I am so ready to part ways with the current situation.
Anyways, enjoy that little video. I didn't want it to be too happy, I wanted it to be a bit dramatic.

Pullover / Romwe | Leggings / Aritzia | Shoes / Jeffery Campbell | Necklace / H&M

School is starting tomorrow and in the next 3 months I will be on surviver mood. I'm hoping this time around classes will be easier and less work would be given ( HAHA who am I kidding?). Anyways, I hope winter hasn't taken all your energy yet. It's gonna be spring in no time, Plus I am wearing the awsomest  pullover ever! So how can I not be in a fantastic mood and full of energy? I swear sometimes a piece of clothing could truly make you the happiest for a little while.

Bennie  / Little Burgundy | Shirt x Skirt / Aritzia | Watch / Times | Shoes / TBA

I may seem weather confused BUT it's always summer in my head. Ok maybe this is not a very summery look either… its kinda of a mix, BUT can we give this velvet red skirt a minute? I just thought I'd share my little skirt crush of the moment , after all I don't wear skirts so often anyways.

P.s.  I like cats

Tank & Pants / Aritzia  | Blouse /  Mendocino | Shoes (same style) / little burgundy  | Necklace / H&M  | Watch / Timex

My current style inspiration is quite as the title suggests.  I am not so sure as to why this is so, but I think it has to do a lot with the colour and the gentle feel the two give out. As it is near the end of summer and the fall is sneaking up upon us, this is really the last summer feel outfit for this time, unless the leaves won't fall and summer will remain for much longer. But hey living in Canada one day it is summer and the next it is winter. Anyways I hope all is good with you guys, and that you liked my video.

Sweater / TNA | Dress / Artzia | Shoes / Mom | Necklace / H&M

Today I wanted to share with you one of my favourite looks for spring.  As you guys probably noticed, grunge and the 90's are back again - it was never out, just got mainstreamed again -. I know I have featured this cropped sweater endless times, but come on... it can never be out of style and it goes with everything, gosh! Anyways as you can probably see crop sweaters and spring dresses are just the key to a cool chilly spring day... well at least for me. I find this look so effortless and cool. maybe the Docs will totally complete the 90's feel , but the chelsea boots work just as good... You know just to make it more 2013 (what am I even talking about).
Let me know what you guys think of this look, would you rock it?

P.S.

Start playing Nirvana again ;)

Pants / H&M | Sweater / TNA | Shoes / Nike | Coat / Romwe | Necklace / Cheap Monday

Today I decided to play a bit with patterns a knits. In the past few weeks I can confidently say that I have been wearing something bold and pattern related pretty much every single day. Now I am not sure why... but I feel like I am subliminally trying to stand out in the white outdoors and tell mother nature to start blooming flowers. But anyway it's never to bad to stand out and be bold. So stay bold and stand out.

Sweater / Urban Outfitters | shirt / Romwe | leggings / Aritzia | Shoes / jeffrey campbell

Everyone claims to be original and trend setting now a days, which is putting to shame the ones that truly are different. I wish people will stop trying so hard to please everyone else and only worry about pleasing themselves. I dress up every morning the way I wanna dress up and in the way I will impress myself.  It is really sad that people try so hard to copy others and claim to be their own. preach what you say and stay true to yourself. it is to easy to get mixed up with the trends, but style is internal.

Pants / Aritzia | Shirt / Romwe | shoes / Converse | Tank Top / Forever21 | Sunglasses / H&M

My ever lasting love for the 90's will forever remain, and what is a better way to represent it if not through this awesome Batman shirt?! As soon as I saw it on Romwe I knew I had to have it. It reminds me so much of my childhood and my love for cartoons and how fun it was just being a kid. this is defiantly a go to shirt once memory lane hits and the family albums come out.

I'm having the winter blues , all i've been thinking of is skirts, shorts, and tanktops. Is it too much to ask for winter to be over? Anyway I took my winter blues one step further and put an outfit of the day that I wish I could wear today. I know I can't... but hey a girl can wish can't she? ;) so this is my black and white look for the warmer days ahead.

The new year has begun, the snow has arrived and so is my want to stay home, drink tea and watch Breakfast at Tiffany's all day. I must say that I am looking forward to this year, I am motivated to get myself into routine with many things I wish to accomplish. One thing is for sure, you will be seeing more of me around here... and this is not an empty promise
